DeKalb Market is one of the best new places in Brooklyn. Morphed from the original shipping container market on the same site, it’s one of my favorite spots to sample all of the different types of foods from all around this diverse boro. The space located in the basement of the new Alamo Theater is just big enough to make you feel it’s endless possibilities. You can sample delicious treats from Foragers, Katz‘s Deli, Morgan‘s, Fulton Fish Market, and many other top notch establishments. From churros to donuts to BahMi to Ramen it’s a potpourri of snacks, meals and fried pizza. Yes, that’s right fried pizza. Go now, go often and don’t forget to bring a healthy appetite.
